TVS Motor Company exhibits bespoke motorcycles and hosts rides at Rann Utsav, attracting over 100 riders from across the globe.
TVS Motor Company has marked its second year at the Rann Utsav in Gujarat, showcasing a variety of motorcycles, including the TVS Apache RTR 310 and Apache RR 310 in custom liveries. The event, held in Bhuj, Gujarat, brought together more than 100 riders, with participation from international enthusiasts from Italy and Mexico.
The festival offered attendees the chance to explore vast salt plains and the renowned ‘Road to Heaven’ through community rides and showcases of bespoke motorcycles. Among the highlights were five custom motorcycles inspired by the unique landscapes and traditional crafts of Kutch. These motorcycles were developed in collaboration with Eimor Customs and included models such as the TVS Ronin, Apache RTR 200, Apache RTR 310, and Apache RR 310.
Under the theme “The Rann of Kutch Edition – A Symphony of Salt and Sky,” the custom motorcycles featured hand-painted designs that reflected the stark contrasts between the white salt flats and dramatic skies. Furthermore, laser-cut stainless-steel badges complemented the unique aesthetics.
A significant feature of this year’s festival was the inaugural West Chapter ride organised by the TVS Apache Owners Group (AOG) and the TVS Ronin CuLT community. The participants came from various cities, including Mumbai, Pune, Kolhapur, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad, embracing the spirit of community riding.
In addition to the rides, the event featured the TVS Premium Arena, where attendees could engage in activities such as stunt performances, flat track drift training, and freestyle motocross demonstrations. A notable addition was the exclusive Women’s Drift-R Championship, which aimed to empower female riders and promote inclusivity within the motorsport community.
Another highlight was the specially modified TVS Ronin themed around “Unscripted Exploration.” This motorcycle showcases features such as dual-purpose tyres, a modified mudguard, and reinforced luggage racks, along with heritage-inspired leather accessories. Its distinctive design includes a gradient finish transitioning from sky-blue to salt-white, highlighting the adventurous spirit of the manufacturer.
TVS Motor Company’s continued presence at Rann Utsav indicates a shift towards integrating experiential tourism within the motorcycle community. As parts of the broader industry trend, manufacturers are increasingly creating immersive experiences that connect their products to cultural and regional attractions, enhancing the lifestyle aspect of motorcycling in India. The partnership also hints at the potential for deeper engagements between automotive brands and tourism bodies in future events, especially as experiential tourism continues to gain momentum in the region.
